Step by step
Sign in to your account
Go to your account and open the completed session for your document.
Open your finished document
Find the sealed PDF for the session you just completed. It includes the notarial certificate and the digital seal.
Download the sealed PDF
Save the file to your device. Keep the original sealed PDF, since the seal is what lets recipients verify it.
Share the original file
Send the sealed PDF exactly as downloaded. Printing it and scanning it back in, or editing it, can break the seal.
Why the original matters: the seal is tamper-evident, so a change made after notarization can be detected when the seal is verified. Sharing the untouched PDF lets recipients confirm your document is authentic and unaltered.
Keep a copy: we retain the notarial record in line with New Jersey's requirements, but it is wise to save your own copy of the sealed PDF too.
